Presentation Guidelines

Congratulations for getting accepted your paper for presentation at the VRC-2022 conference!
You are requested to pre-record your presentation and submit it to the organizers before 23:59 on 19/07/2022. The pre-recorded presentations will be played during your designated conference sessions, if you are unable to present your paper due to power cuts in your respective locations or poor network connection or travel problems to appear in person at the conference venue.
During the program on 21st July 2022, presenting author from each accepted paper should be available online or in person 10 minutes before the scheduled technical session. Each conference session is moderated by the respective session chairs.
Please refer the following guidelines when preparing the video recording of your presentation:
  • Your presentation should be at least 8 minutes in length but should not exceed 10 minutes. It must be voiced in clear and understandable English.
  • Capture your presentation/slides in full screen. Advance the slides as if presenting normally.
  • It is recommended (not mandatory) that the presenter’s face is also recorded in the video. However, by doing so, make sure that the video inset is not hiding important parts of your slides. An example video with the presenter’s face can be found at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uiK1rYAV3zp8Q_yYrhP8OSYIidbwDx0P
  • File Format should be MPEG-4 (.mp4)
  • Please double check your files before submitting them to make sure the audio is clear and audible.
  • The filename must be your paper ID or the title of your paper.
  • To submit your recording, upload your video file before 23:59 on 19/07/2022 via the following link: https://tinyurl.com/uoj-vrc-2022 Since we need to do the video/audio quality check, submitting your videos before the deadline is important.
  • To produce your video, feel free to use any tool that you are comfortable with. Some tools you can use for this purpose:
    • Zoom
    • Microsoft Power Point (Tutorial for video capturing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8JV3w4TOVw)
    • Screen capture software such as ShareX (https://getsharex.com/)
If there are any problems in submitting your video recordings, you may contact:
