Submission Guidelines
General Guidelines
- Both abstract and extended abstract should be submitted via our online submission system by the corresponding author.
- The abstract and extended abstract should be resulted from original research work.
- Submitted abstract and extended abstract will be reviewed through a double-blind review process and the comments received will be notified to the corresponding author via our online conference management system. Click here to submit paper
- Accepted abstract with incorporating any suggestions should be submitted both in .doc (or .docx) and .pdf format on or before the deadline mentioned to authors with the acceptance notification.
- Content of the abstract will be rejected without further consideration if plagiarism is detected (more than 10% and single source should not exceed more than 4 %).
- The Editorial Committee of the conference recommends all authors to verify their abstracts against plagiarism using any free online plagiarism checker before submission (e.g. www.plagscan.com/seesources/analyse.php).
- Each accepted abstract must be presented by one of its authors at the conference.
- Accepted abstracts can be presented either by in-person or by virtual presentation. Authors interested in a virtual presentation should register for the virtual presentation. Papers for virtual presentation will appear in the conference programme and in the proceedings of the conference.
- Oral presentations will be held in parallel sessions under categorized focus areas.
- Authors who wish to participate in the conference must register through the conference registration page given below: http://conf.jfn.ac.lk/vrc2022/index.php/registration-guidelines/.
- The Author Declaration Form signed by all authors giving the information on corresponding author and preferred track should be submitted along with the abstract submission. Author Declaration Form can be submitted as a pdf file or as an image file. Abstracts submitted without author declaration form will not be considered.
- The presenting author should be available to present the abstract. Presenting author who is unable to make presentation should immediately be notified to the Conference Secretaries.
- Template for extended abstract, author declaration form, camera ready template and submission guidelines can be downloaded from the links provided at the bottom of this page.
- Extended abstract should not exceed 4 pages including 4-5 references.
- Once the abstracts and author declaration forms are received, an acknowledgement will be sent to the corresponding author by the online conference management system.
- Selected abstracts will be invited to publish in VINGNANAM Journal of Science (https://vingnanam.sljol.info/) .
Guidelines for Submission
Abstract and extended abstract should be written in English language and they should not exceed one page and four pages respectively within the given template.
Find below some important information about the page layout and the content:
- Abstract should not contain any figures or pictures or tables but extended abstract may allow maximum two figures or pictures or tables only. Please create your table with the help of the ‘table button’.
- Abstract titles should be descriptive and it should not exceed 20 words.
- Write the title in lower case letters (except the first letter) and do not put a full stop at the end.
- Abstracts must have a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 300 words.
- Heading and subheading in the extended abstract should be in bold letters.
- The use of underlined is not permitted. Words that need emphasis should be bold or italics type.
- Number of keywords should not exceed to six. Keywords should be written in lowercase letters and separated by semicolon.
- Insert the author’s initials, last name and institute details as indicated on the online form. Do not add any titles or degrees.
